I have had pets all of my life and truly can't imagine life without them!  Dogs were my growing up pet (along with fish, hamsters, birds, rabbits and even a pony for one year!) Once I went to college, I became a Cat lover because my roommates had them!  This is when I became more involved w/cats because I was also working 8-10 hours a day and a dog wasn't allowed in my apartment.

My daughter and I do Agility training with our dog Luna, who is a patterdale/rat terrier  and we know that it takes a loving, patient and knowledgeable heart to work with all animals.

I volunteer on the Committee for the Yarmouth Dog Park that will be located at Sandy Pond in Yarmouth.

Many years ago, I was involved in the opening of the Framingham Humane Society and used to volunteer there weekly for many years and at that time was a foster Mommy to many animals in need. I was involved in fundraising, helping the animals find homes, and taking care of the ones at the shelter.

Now...I live in a little house here on the Cape with my 13 year old  Home Schooled daughter and we have one dog, 5 chickens, 2 hamsters and fish.  All of our animals were adopted because they were in need of a good loving home.  The hamsters came from the MSPCA and the chickens came from the ranch that my daughter works at and rides a horse. 
I would like to begin a  small pet sitting business and to jump start that we have been pet sitting for three clients.  One of our biggest jobs is House/pet siitting is at the ranch where my daughter takes riding lessons (they have 4 dogs, 5 horses and too many chickens to count!)  So, we're comfortable around all animals (with the exception of my friends tarantula, which I take care of but it is not my idea of a pet Lol!)
