Part-Time, 10 + Years of ExperienceI have had dogs all my life and currently have 3 dogs of my own. I was a volunteer for Pet Connect Rescue for a few months as a foster and doing home visits to approve/disapprove of homes before dogs went to their forever homes. My husband also had dogs his whole life and was the primary dog caretaker while I was at work. He is home 24/7. We enjoyed our volunteering but because I rent my home, I was asked by landlord to not foster anymore dogs as I had them for a month at a time. At one point we had a total of 9 dogs, 3 of ours along with 3 from a shelter in GA (mom and her 2 litters 1 was 10 months old and the other was 8 weeks old) and 3 puppies from another shelter. It was a full house but fun! I had to stop the home visits as the gas prices went up and I took on a second part time job. My son age 21 works at Best Friends in Gaithersburg in the camp division, my daughters are 16 & 12 and help my husband with dogs after school but during this time they will be out of school.
