A lifelong animal lover, I started my first job as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital because I was interested in the health and well being of animals and also in learning how to more properly care for animals with certain health problems. This job has been an incredible learning experience for me and I have learned much more than I ever expected to learn.
I will be starting school at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the fall and I would love to continue to work with animals as much as possible.
My personal pets include an American Quarter Horse, whom I have owned for four years. An African Pygmy Goat, whom I rescued and bottle raised. I also have an assortment of fish and ampihibians.
