About the Artist
Radha is an international mixed media visual artist and lives iin Cincinnati oH. She arrived in Cincinnati in 1991 and earned her BFA at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and MFA at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has collected a large number of awards for her work and has exhibited her art nationally and internationally. Her art works are based on the ephemeral feminine ritual called kolam from south India and primarily focuses on geometrical patterns and natural pigments used in this ritual folk art. She uses both traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques to make her art. Currently her research topic is: Displacements, Transitions and Diasporas: Cross-Cultural Exchanges between Northern Aboriginal Women’s Ritual Art in Contemporary Settings.

I am a mature woman who has been pet sitting and house sitting for the last 10 years all over the world. I love dogs and I have no criminal background. I teach and mentor kids in my studio and as well as in Schools. I have very good recommendations.
