Growing up, all I ever wanted was to be with animals. After volunteering at shelters and some internships, I made my dreams come true and became an exotic animal trainer shortly after college in 2004. Most recently I worked as a curator of a zoo in California. There I oversaw the care of over 200 animals, trained and trained the keepers of proper care, handling and training of the animals. I have trained several different species of animals to do a wide array of behaviors from basic sit and stay to training hawks to do back flips. We were recently relocated to the area leaving my curator job in California. I currently have a dog/coyote mix and 2 cats of my own.
