I've grown up always having pets. With our two first dogs, I've given medicine, the first due to arthritis, and the second with cushings. I'm an animal lover and besides my dog nellie (terrier mix) the other current pet in the home is a gigantic comet goldfish named Petito.
I work at a preschool during the day, but am able to stop by in the morning (I work 10-6pm) or evening, and avail. all day during the weekend.
I'm a college student, home for the summer.
During Jr. High I was a volunteer at the King County Humane Society.
I currently do not have any specific pet-related references, as the only other people's pets i've watched were neighbors (who moved 4 years ago). But I could easily give charachter references.

21 Years as a Owner
I've grown having a dog in the house since the age of 2. We've had a lab/afghan mix, a lab/pit mix and our current dog is a Fox terrier/Jack Russel Mix.

Although I don't currently have a cat, my roommate at school does, and so do many family friends. I also used to care for the neighbors cat (until they moved)

I've had various types of freshwater fish the past 15 years (currently just goldfish). I have a tiny bit of experience with a planted tank.

Have cared for a parakeet! My senior AP biology project was hatching and caring for Ducks. Once they were full grown the ducks were moved to a farm when I left for University.
