I've had pets since I was 8 years old. Everything from birds (cockatiels, parakeets, a double yellow head amazon parrot, and an african grey) to fish, hamsters, rats, cats, a dog, rabbits, newts and salamanders, a turtle, and 2 guinea pigs over the course of my life. Currently I have a cat. I have worked as a volunteer for the Seattle Humane Society, helping to care for their animals, as well as I've worked at a few pet stores as an animal care specialist. I also got interested and involved in rabbit breeding through 4-H as a young teen (I love rabbits!)
