Sittercity Recognized by the Publicity Club of Chicago with a Golden Trumpet Award
The Publicity Club of Chicago awarded Sittercity's 2004 Chicago SpeedSitting special event with a Golden Trumpet Award in 2005. The most prestigious awards program in the Midwest, the Golden Trumpet is the highest category of the awards program and honors distinguished individual achievement of public relations and other communications professionals. These coveted awards are presented for excellence in planning, creativity and execution.
Each year, from the hundreds of entries, special recognition is given to a select few Golden Trumpet entries. Entries that illustrate special creativity, address an issue to improve the quality of life, or exhibit exceptional overall public relations can be recommended by the judges for this special recognition. These entries are then evaluated by a group of top agency executives who select "the best of the best."
