Sittercity.com Wins the UPS "Out of the Box" Award
Sittercity.com won first place in the (international) UPS "Out of the Box" Small Business Contest.
The UPS Best "Out-of-the-Box" Small Business Contest honors innovative companies with revenues of at least US$250,000 but not more than US$10 million. Eligible businesses in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, the Philippines and Singapore where chosen by why they're original and how they've been successful. The entries were judged on originality, business implementation, and business results.
Four innovative small businesses were recognized in the 2007 UPS Small Business Contest, with Sittercity winning first place. The winning entries were selected by a panel of judges from over 1,000 entries submitted by businesses around the world. The winners were announced during the first-ever UPS Global Small Business Forum and Awards Ceremony at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
