(Chicago, Ill.) - Sittercity.com, America’s largest and most trusted online source for caregivers, is partnering with Ricochet Television, the producers of international parenting phenomenon SUPERNANNY and US cable hits The Real Housewives of NYC (BRAVO) and The Alaska Experiment (Discovery), for castings calls for the hit British show IT'S ME OR THE DOG, which is now coming to the U.S. The American version of the popular Animal Planet show is reaching out to Sittercity’s database of hundreds of thousands of users to recruit misbehaving dogs and their owners in the Atlanta and L.A. areas.
"It's a huge hit in Britain, and now for the first time ever we'll film the show with American dogs," said Executive Producer Nick Emmerson about the US production taping later this year. IT'S ME OR THE DOG's UK production is in its fourth season and the British episodes are airing on Animal Planet now in the States.
“Sittercity is excited to help our partner find pet owners who want a little help for their disobedient dogs,” said Genevieve Thiers, founder and CEO of Sittercity. “We’ve partnered with Ricochet for SUPERNANNY castings and are thrilled to offer this exciting experience to Sittercity’s four-legged family members as well.”

About It’s Me or the Dog From unruly hounds to pampered poodles, dog trainer Victoria Stilwell has seen them all - but what about the owners who are forced to live with them? With homes destroyed and marriages in trouble, it's not just the dogs that need help. This series follows Victoria Stilwell as she tries to restore harmony in homes where the pet is running riot and the family is in the dog house. Through observation, interviews and secret filming with a 'pet cam', Victoria uses her 10 years of experience to assemble the evidence and diagnose the problem. A clear practical training program follows, offering both pet and owner the chance to change the bad habits of a lifetime. First filmed in the United Kingdom and now coming to America, this series gives owners easy to follow hands-on advice.
