New Balance Joins Sittercity.com's Corporate Program

Wednesday, August 27, 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Chicago, Ill.) - Sittercity announced today that New Balance, the Boston-based global athletic company, has joined Sittercity's Corporate Program, which will give New Balance associates instant access to thousands of babysitters, nannies, petsitters, senior care providers, housekeepers and tutors through Sittercity.com's national online database.

The company’s 2,200 U.S.-based associates will utilize a co-branded Sittercity website with profiles of sitters containing references, photos, background checks, feedback from parents, calendars, contact information, videos and more than 40 different pieces of criteria on each caregiver and more.

“New Balance is committed to creating an environment that supports the well-being of our associates both at work and at home,” says Carol O’Donnell, Vice President of Corporate Human Resources for New Balance. “The Sittercity Corporate Program offers a real solution for associates that have trouble getting to work because of responsibilities for their loved ones like after-school care for their child, a sick pet, or elderly parents who need to get to doctor appointments."

Sittercity's Corporate Program is now entering its third year. In addition to their Corporate Program, which includes a bulk membership to Sittercity.com and a uniquely branded website portal for the company they are serving, Sittercity also offers SpeedSitting® events to corporations, run in a "speed date" format, to connect company employees with local care providers.
