Hello Families!
My name is Jessica and I worked for over two years caring for an elderly couple with late stage Alzheimer's and Dementia in their home. I provided mental stimulation, good company, art and music, dispensed medication, assisted with toileting, providing trips out in the community, and cooked meals. In addition, I have a master's degree in social work from Boston University and understand the complexities of Alzheimer's disease and it's effects on the individual and family. I strive to provide excellent care to elders and can assist in all aspects of running a home if necessary, including grocery shopping, paying bills, driving seniors to medical appointments, cleaning the house, and communicating regularly with the family. It is also very important to me that I form a personal relationship with clients, and learn about their background and interests in order to connect with them in whatever stage they may be.
