Sofia W. Senior Care in San Diego, CA 92104. Looking for work as a senior care companion.

Hello, 

My name is Sofia and I am a born and raised San Diego native. I started my family early, and enjoyed being a stay at home Mom. I have a very healthy, active, and spiritual life -  I love being outdoors. My hobbies include cooking, organic gardening, and animals - I have an English Bulldog and a Mini Dachshund, and I have bee an animal lover my whole life (specifically dogs and horses). I am currently in the prcess of having my English Bulldog trained to be a certified pet therapy dog. Once she completes training she will visist with seniors in convalescent hospitals and hospitalized children.

Having older children (18 years and up) encouraged me to get back into my career, which led to me start my own home based jewelry and clothing business.  It is still in the begining phase, allowing me time for other interests. I do not have professional experience as a care giver, but when my grandmother was alive I helped her with her day to day needs (meals, grocery shopping, errands, Dr's appts, grooming). I am considering taking an HHA class in order to be able to work with senoirs.
