I have been working with seniors for the past four years in an asissted living facility. I work with Alzheimer's and dementia patients. I assist with all of the areas of daily living. I have also worked as the med tech on duty so I have become accustomed to the medicines and doing wound care. Working with the elderly made me want to become a nurse. I love helping the elderly and hearing their stories. I always want to ask them questions and know more about their lives. I have received several training classes on proper techniques on how to better assist the elderly in their everyday lives.
