I have worked with the geriatric community since 2003.  I started working in an internist's office while I was in high school.  Then, I earned my CNA liscense (and CPR certification) worked in an assisted living facility.  Finally, I worked in the hospital setting as a CNA.  I have had to renew my license every 2 years since 2006 so that I could continue to work, and I am currently licensed as a CNA.  I also have kept my CPR certification current, as it was a requirement by my employers.  I have specialized in taking care of older individuals with disabilities and medical issues.  I can help with dressing, medicine administration, blood glucose checks, administering shots, supervision, blood pressure checks, and having friendly conversation.
