I just graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a Bacholer's degree  in Applied Linguistics. I am not a professional health care provider, but I have previously been a paid companion to an older lady where I would visit her twice a week so that we could take walks together, run errands, and talk and spend time together. She could not get out much so this time was valuable to her. I so enjoyed my time with her and though she now has a full-time nurse living with her (due to medical issues) I still visit her often to catch up and take walks. I enjoy getting to know and spend time with older people--there's so many interesting stories they can tell you! I also have worked at Pine Ridge Bible Camp where we have two week specifically for the mentally-impaired campers of any age. I have had (for two summers) older campers mostly (aged 40-70) and have greatly enjoyed my time with them. I also do not mind pets at all, having grown up with them :)
