I have enjoyed the priviledge to be a campanion to several Senior Citizens; both male and female.  During my youth, I was a stay-at-home Mom and a housewife.  Now that my children are grown and my husband has died, I choose to share the skills learned with others who need a little TLC. 

My educational background is in business and education.  I have taught briefly in the public schools and also homeschool some of my children when the need arose.  I have also been a foster Mom and a group home parent.  I enjoy traveling and have been to most of the states in the USA and many European countries, as well as Canada and Mexico.  I have a current passport and am willing to travel on the job.

Missions work has interested me since I was a child and I have many friends who are missionaires.  I have also spent considerable time over the years doing missions work myself and taking my children to do short-term missions work.  I attend church regularly but am blessed to be able to listen to the sermons from my local church online so I am willing to be a Companion on Sundays.  I am willing to attend Christian church services as part of my employment.

Most non-medical activities that you need assistance with can be accomplished by me as your companion.  If you specialized services (hair care, massage, etc.), I can help you locate a provider using the yellow pages or the internet.  I am happy to meet with you and/or your family to discuss what your anticipated needs are.
