My name is Brittany. I grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska with my mom Pam, my dad John, and my sister Brooke. I graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 2008. I began attending classes to become a CNA the beginning of May, 2 weeks before graduation. I then passed my state exam and became certified about 3 weeks after I graduated highschool.

I moved to Lincoln September 2008, and decided to go into school for Early Childhood Education. I then switched my major in October 2009 to Medical Assisting, which I am still doing.

I had my first CNA job in Lincoln, during 2009. I worked with Alzheimer and Dementia patients in a nursing home setting. I dealt with anywhere from completely mobile residents, to residents completely immobile, confined to a chair. There were some residents who didn't want, or need, any help from the nursing staff, and there were those who were completely relient on us for their daily needs. I'm used to working with difficult individuals who want to do things their way, or not at all. I have became very good at keeping a level head through it all, and loved my work and the residents I worked with.
