I have six years of experience taking care of my parents and my mother-in-law. I helped provide daily care for over 2 years for my mother while she battled cancer, until she died in 2001. I helped provide care for my father after that for almost 2 years until his death in 2003. They had a housekeeper who I asisisted in caregiving at my parents' home. Then my mother-in-law lived with my husband and myself for the last 3 years of her life. She required a lot of care for her failing health and dementia problems. I love elderly folks and would be a kind and compassionate caregiver when you need a break.
