I feel like I'm pretty lucky--all four of my grandparents (and three of my great-grandparents!) were still around when I was born and continued to be a large part of my life well into their eighties and nineties. They cared for me when I was little & I cared for them when I got taller.
My stance with senior care is to do what is necessary while allowing them to remain as independent as possible. An active body and active mind allow for a gentler aging process.

My grandparents were already elderly when I was born and I had the privilege of assisting with their care as they grew older-- helping with mobility, mealtime and less dignified moments. Each senior has their own story and I love to listen.
