My name is Emily Conner and I am 25 years old and have a great attitude about life. I just graduated from Brookhaven College from the Nursing Program RN and I am waiting to take my Nursing Boards Exam. I plan on going back to school next fall to possibly become a Midwife but still deciding.

4 Years ago my Grandmother came to live me with because of her dementia and incapable of taking care of herself. I took care of her for over a year before she passed away. She was the light of my life and is the reason why I wanted to become a Nurse. I enjoyed spending lots of time with her and taking good care of her. I would read to her, show her pictures, watch movies, cook and bake, and talk to her. I took care of her by changing her diapers when she was incontinent, administered her insulin and checked her blood sugar levels periodically throughout the day, bathed and dressed her along with doing her hair, cooked and cleaned, and helped her get around the house.
