The couple that I cared for a few years ago had a very interesting childhood and I loved hearing the stories they had to tell. They were children living in Honolulu during the Pearl Harbor attack. I spoke with my daughters teacher about this couple and she invited them into the classroom to share thier knowledge. The gentel man was also a marine during Vietnam. I worked with a retired marine and his wife for a few years while their daughter was at work. I took them to the V.A. hospital, in Richmond for doctor appiontment. They loved to go to many different Asain markets in No. VA and in the Richmond area.
