My name is Raven, I am a senior at the Alabama School of Math and Science. I will be graduating this May with a distinction in Biology and will be attending college in the fall where I will study Pre-Med and major in Cellular Microbiology with a minor in childhood development. I am apart of a club/orginization at my school that specialize in tutoring: Mentoring and I am also apart of Lab of Learning also known as LOL. Mentoring - I go with a few other fellow students to a local elementary school where we volunteer and tutor the young children. Lab of Learning- students from local schools (elementary to high school) come to our campus, where we tutor them in whatever subject they need help in, mostly we help with math and science. I also speak some French and can understand most of it. I have learned to curve my teaching to the learning style of the student. I've learned some students learn visually while some like to learn hands on or are auditory learners. Each student I have taught learns differently and I do my best to help them reach their full potential.
