I believe that if a person has a strong foundation in the ability to read that they can accomplish anything in life and that learning can is often more readily accieved when it is approced in fun and creative ways
I have found that in today educational system that it is more important than ever to that children are strong readers. Many schools have incorporated more reading into their math curriculum than there used to be.
