I took a year off in the middle of college to student teach my own eighth grade ESOL class as well as working one-on-one or in small groups with second graders and other middle schoolers. In college I worked in the Writing Center, helping fellow students with everything from brainstorming to outlining to organizing to proofreading. I have a particular passion for grammar especially (both German and English), and I understand fear of writing a paper or taking a test, so I can greatly empathize and help with nerves.
