Hi there! My name is Isaly, however my students call me Miss Ace. I live on the Northwest part of the city and I am a 5th grade teacher for the Chicago Public schools. I'm looking to become a tutor because it has become obvious to me how important meeting and passing the grade is for students in our current system. With so many peers, there's little one-on-one time, and that is what I'm hoping to offer! I have been teaching for 6 years now. I attended UIC where I made the deans list and attended Northeastern Illinois University where I was received my degree in education, specializing in Middle School and Language Arts. I am now persuing my Masters at National Louis University for a Masters in Education Administration and Supervisory program. I am comfortable tutoring all subjects because I am confident in the strategies I use to teach my own students, no matter the leanring challenges a child may be experiencing. I believe that student's can succeed in learning as long as it is fun and the expectations are clear!
