My name is Jolene Shafer. I am 22 years old and working on my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Southern Adventist University (Collegedale, TN). I have an exceptional amount of tutoring experience. My bachelor's program requires me to be a certain number of hours in our local private and public schools. During this time I am able to work with children one-on-one and with the class as a whole.
My college also provides opportunities to take a year off to be a missionary. I took advantage of this and taught for a year in the South Pacific. I was located on a small island called Palau teaching 4th grade. This experience gave me much wisdom in the area of teaching and tutoring.
