Hi!  My name is Tosh and I recently moved to the greater Cincinnati area from Phoenix, Arizona where I was studying Conservation Biology and Ecological Sustainability.  I am passionate about education and possess a diverse background working with children and youth in a variety of educational settings.  I have experience working in various public school systems as a Volunteer Math/Reading Tutor (K-2) and Classroom Aide (K-2) where I tutored children independently and in small groups, aided students in completing math, reading, and writing assignments, and facillitated classroom projects/lessons on occasion.  I have experience working as an After-School Program Specialist (K-8), where I aided students in completing homework assignments in all general subjects, and facilitated  educational activities for varying age groups.  I am presently employed part time as an After-School Program Specialist for a non-profit organization partnered with the School for Creative and Performing Arts in downtown Cincinnati.  Additionally, I have extensive experience as an Environmental Educator (K-12) through CampFire USA summer camps, Conservation Corps, and the US Forest Service.

I am adaptive, perseverant, dependable, able to tutor on multiple subjects, and am open to utilizing various mechanisms to meet individual learning styles.
