Hello there! My name is Glenn Alperin. I really enjoy working with children of all ages, and I am quite adept at working with different learning styles and finding ways to inspire the people I tutor. Although I may be hired specifically to assist with homework help, it is my belief that sometimes, the best way to learn is by doing. In that way, I will make every effort to make learning fun for all of my students, and I may offer assistance which is slightly off the beaten path regarding homework help.

Let me be clear that for the purpose of tutoring, I will not do the work for your son or daughter. Instead, I will help them find the best way to accomplish the tasks for themselves by making it fun and relevant for them. I will provide additional support, but they will be doing the work, not me. This is important, because I want your son or daughter to feel a sense of accomplishment with what they have produced.

Glenn has been incredibly helpful as a tutor and really so much more for my son. My son is incredibly bright and yet suffers from depression and lack of confidence. Glenn's approach to tutoring has been very effective in both inspiring Kyle as well and gently pushing him in a direction to take more responsibility for his own dreams and life. Through this creative process I see a slow steady transformation taking place as Glenn weaves together lessons that speak to some of Kyle's personal issues and also looks at the bigger picture of life, humanity and all of our struggles to find ourselves and our voice.
