I have experience tutoring high school and fourth grade as well as eight years of experience as an early childhood educator and elementary arts educator. I have worked with children ages 3-11 as well as with adolescents. I am in the process of obtaining my BA in Childhood Studies with minors in Visual Arts and Theater, and with emphasis on special education and integrating the arts into education and therapeutic work. As an educator, I strive to learn each student's unique strengths and areas of struggle as best I can, so that I may tailor learning experiences to them in a very personalized way. I use a student-centered, "whole person", progressive approach.
