Hi there, my name is Mari. I have many years of tutoring in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I am currently a Junior at NYU, double majoring in history and education. Last year I worked with high students in Brooklyn. I've mostly tutored in math and science , but I can also tutor in history, english and reading /writing. Currently I'm working at the Red Cross to re-design the Exploring Humanitarian Law curriculum for high school students that I will be teaching this summer.
I like to get to know who I will be working with and create a rough outline for each student that I work with to meet their specific needs. I'm professional, responsible and down-to-earth and fun.

I started tutoring in my high school, the Packer Collegiate Institute, where we had a peer tutoring program. I tutored for 3 years in algebra, calculus, chemistry, biology and history. Since high school I've been a peer tutor at nyu.
