I have experience tutoring Kindergarten through 1st and 3rd through 5th grade. I am certified to teach elementary school, and have the skills to learn an unfamiliar subject in order to meet student needs.
I graduated from UCO with an Art Education degree, and I currently teach Kindergarten and 1st grade. Before that I co-taught in the 3rd through 5th grade. I have participated in summer break camps and break camps during the year. I taught Art at a private Arts institute for a year. I am also a CPR and 1st Aid Trainer.
I have worked at my school for nearly three and a half years with homeless and at-risk students. We teach core subjects as well as study habits and social skills. Every student is different, and every student can learn. It is a matter of finding how they learn and helping them to find success.
