My name is Courtney Murphy and I am a former Special Education classroom teacher at a Middle School in Alabama. I moved on from my teaching position so that I can seek a Masters in Special Education at Vanderbilt University starting in the Fall of 2011. I'm not only a certified Special Education teacher, but I am also certified in Early Childhood/Elementary education for Pre-K through 6th grade. I have formally tutored students both in high school and in college in the area of Geometry. Also, during my college years, I worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist for a young boy with Autism. I love working with children and helping them grasp the information that may be difficult for them to obtain.
