Hello parents! I graduated from The University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education (Spanish minor) in May 2010. I spent one year student teaching in a 5th grade classroom, and then went on to teach 6th grade Mathematics for the Parkway School District in St. Louis, Missouri. Currently, I teach middle school Math and Science in Austin, Texas.

I'm the oldest granddaughter of 16, so caring for children has always come naturally to me. I take every opportunity to engage kids in fun and educational activities. Starting at the age of fifteen, I worked every summer at a day camp, Camp Webegee, with children ages three to twelve. After I was promoted from counselor to team leader, I started to see that my love for kids was becoming a passion that would eventually transform into a carreer in education. After recieving my Bachelors Degree, I took further endeavors in my professional development and pursued a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 

With years of babysitting and camp counseling under my belt, coupled with degrees in education, I really do know what kids like! I hope to be viewed by you and your children as responsible, professional, and caring. My students tell me that I make learning fun, and I hope you and your child(ren) agree!

Currently I am employed as a teacher from mid-August to early June. My summers are fairly open for tutoring. During the school year, I am available on evenings after 6pm and most weekends. I have experience babysitting children ages 6 months to 12 years old. I have two years of experience tutoring 6th-8th grade students, but I look forward to future endeavors with students of all ages (preschool through middle school).
