I absolutely love teaching. I worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison throughout my master's program, and am currently a TA at the University of Texas at Austin while I work toward my Ph.D. Teaching has definitely been the most valuable and enjoyable part of graduate school for me. I think the atmosphere is very important, and I try to make the learning experience fun through games and jokes. I have three years of classroom experience, and have also worked for several years as a private tutor (trained and certified by Muhlenberg College). Additionally, I have taught private piano lessons on and off for the last 10 years.
