I hold a Texas State certification in Bilingual/ESL/Spanish Education and taught as a bilingual teacher in the Houston public school system for 5 years. I have also given ESL classes to adult students with a desire to learn the English language. Watching children and adults alike gain confidence in language is a great reward for me as a teacher.

I am currently a student at Lamar University and am seeking to continue with my passion of teaching children and adults in a one-on-one or small group setting while I pursue my graduate degree as a Speech Language Pathology. I have a toddler and am only looking for part time work but would love to have the opportunity to help anyone who has a desire to learn Spanish or English, improve the language skills they already have, or help any child that has a need in reading or writing.
