Hi! My name is Marissa and I am a grad student at UT Dallas studying communication disorders. I am patient with my students and have a passion for helping others learn and understand concepts. My recent experience in tutoring took place while earning my bachelor's at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I was a supplemental instructor for the school for one semester. As a supplemental instructor for a history class, I would prepare three sessions a week for a group of about twenty students or more and would provide an additional office hour for those who couldn't attend the regularly scheduled meeting times. I score above average on my GRE and graduated with a degree in Psychology and minor in Spanish with a 3.65 gpa. My coursework included math from college algebra through calculus, biology I and II, physics, politics, history, writing/english, and various psychology and Spanish courses.
