I am currently a junior at Texas State University, where I am studying Therapeutic Recreation. I enjoy the outdoors, music, spending time with family and friends, learning new things, exercising, and reading. I love school, and throughly enjoy learning. During the summer I work at a summer camp in Missouri, Camp Barnabas. Barnabas is a summer camp for kids and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. This place has given me some of the best life experiences any young adult could ask for. As a result of volunteering and working there I am studying Therapeutic Recreation and plan to go to graduate school for Speech Pathology. Eventually I would love to work in a therapeutic setting focusing primarily on children.
