Former Pre Kindergarten teacher available to babysit! Hello! In addition to babysitting experience, I can offer experience working with children in many settings and a passion for teaching. Most recently, I worked full-time at a day care and early education center as a Pre Kindergarten teacher. We created engaging and age-appropriate activities for the children daily. Additionally, I have taught cross-country skiing to school groups, run Girl Scout day camps in the rural villages of Western Alaska, taught English to Spanish speaking children in Argentina and worked as an outdoor guide for adventurers of all ages in Alaska. I have completed 12 hours of Early Childhood Education and hold Wilderness First Responder and Adult/Child/Infant CPR certifications. Becky helped us out in a major way last weekend for a last minute babysitting request! As out of towners, I was a little nervous about having a stranger watch our son. My fears were erased when she arrived early and immediately began playing with our son and even using much of the same language and diversion techniques we use with him (ha!) She's a natural and I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to babysit again... now if only we lived closer!
