I am an honest, hard working woman with great work ethics. I love people, enjoy helping others and love to see others succeed. I graduated from Wallace State Community Collge with an Associates in Arts degree and continued my education at Alabama A&M studying Special Education. I started baby sitting when I was 11 for people in our neighborhood. I started taking care of my grandmother when I was 10 years old. I would dose and administer her medications on a daily basis along with her insulin; I helped with bathing and dressing; I oversaw her diet and prepared meals according to her diet and also prepared meals for my granddad and I cleaned their house. After my grandmother passed my grandad had a stoke and I took care of him the same way I did my grandmother until he passed. I started helping my parents in 2010 after my Read more mother had a massive heart attack and my dad fell and broke his hip. I would transport them to and from doctor appointments when I could; I helped them with their daily needs; dose and administer their medications; prepare their meals and clean house. My dad passed in 2017. My mother is still living and I still help with her. She is in a wheelchair, she has dementia and is on kidney dialysis. When she first started kidney dialysis she did peritoneal dialysis which I took the training and administered her dialysis’s at home. In 2016 she started on hemodialysis which is administered at dialysis facility. I still dose and administer her medications; help with bathing, dressing and all her daily needs; prepare and clean house. I have sit with loved ones and friends that were and are battling cancer and help them with their daily needs and administer their medications.
