When I was 6 years old, my mom had twin boys, and that was the beginning of my childcare career. I would hold one while she took care of the other one. I loved helping her take care of them. When I was 13, I got my first official job as a mother s helper to a family with four children under six. All throughout high school, I babysat for multiple families with children of varying ages. Since I was 18, I have worked in a church nursery with children three months to two years. This past year, I have been a part time nanny for two families. One family had a daughter who was 5 months old when I started and is now a year old. The other family had four children, a 9-year-old boy, a 6-year-old girl, a 3-year-old girl, and a 2-month-old baby. Both jobs included light Read more housework, occasional cooking, and homework help. I love playing with children, reading books to them, and doing crafts. I also love pets and babysit for multiple families with cats and dogs! I am currently getting my masters in special education at Auburn University.
