I am a full time Junior Civil Engineer at Dynamic Solutions in Birmingham, Alabama. I attended college at Auburn University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering in 2012. The entire time I was in school I worked at a church nursery. I worked primarily with children ages new born to six (6) years. I enjoy working with all children because it is a nice change of pace from my full-time Civil Engineering job in down town Birmingham, just as I loved doing it in college as a nice break from school. I find being around young people helps keep life in perspective and full of excitement. My freshman year only, I attend Birmingham Southern College and was an after school and weekend nanny to a 13 and 15 year old set of sisters in Mt. Brook in 2007-2008. My primary duties with them was cooking, transportation, Read more homework help, and emotional support while parents divorcing. I truly enjoy these jobs. The first child care position in college was the Auburn Unitarian Universalist Congregation around 2008; the second (and longest) was with Trinity United Methodist Church in Opelika, Alabama starting 2010. During high-school and college I also life guarded while my certifications were current (in Auburn I was one of the life guards for the dive team practice and swim meets.) This set of skills has taught me CPR, First Aid, and other rescue skills. My CPR certification lapsed in May 2015, but I am more than happy to get that renewed. You may be asking yourself why does a full-time engineer need a part-time job? I am trying so hard at saving money for a wedding and to buy a home and want to put in the extra work to get to those goals. I own two pets, a cat and a dog. I am more than comfortable with pets and children together. Please feel free to call and speak with me, I am typically able to answer my phone at work unless I am in a meeting.
