My name is Kjerstin Wells (pronounced as K-ear-stin). I'm a twenty year old sophomore at Lawson State Community College majoring in nursing. I currently have two jobs.. I've been working at Oporto Animal Clinic for 8 years and Prometric (a testing facility for doctors, nurses, teachers, mechanics, etc.) since March of 2018. Prior to working at Prometric I worked a daycare called Touched By An Angel from January of 2018-March of 2018. I loved my job but the pay wasn't enough , and although i was attached to my kids when a better job opportunity came along I had to take it. But over the years I've noticed how well I am with kids and how generally attracted we are. For example, I've been out in public areas and there are instances where kids would just randomly start a conversation with me about whatever may be on their mind and Read more i'd just happily interact with them. As a kid I was always trying to find ways to make money so I'd ask to watch my little cousins for money, and now as I'm older I just enjoy taking them out to the jump park, skating, etc. It's safe to say that the love I've created for kids started with them and grew beyond, which has caused me to take in Pediatric Nursing into consideration as a career field.
