My name is Mary Hendrix. I am from Columbus, MS. In Columbus I babysat a total of 6 children at a time from the year of 2009 to 2012, when I relocated to Fort Rucker,AL. I relocated because my husband is in the military. I adore every child I care for, and never discriminated based on race, age nor disability. I started each day off by greeting the child and asking them what they would like for breakfast. After breakfast, I started each child on a coloring sheet while they take turns cleaning their face and brushing their teeth. After that we sang a series of educational, but enjoyable children "Hooked On Phonics", songs. When we were done we started play time where we played various amount of games such as "duck,duck, goose!" and "I Spy!". Following those activities, we had nap time, lunch, and playtime until parent pick-up. For Read more smaller children such as toddlers or infants, I read to each and every child daily. They received breakfast and lunch feeding and changing of diapers and pull-ups, as needed. That age group also engaged in a series of children songs and cartoons with personal attention and play time any time needed. I understand that every child's parents may have a different way of doing things with their child, such as not being fed certain foods or getting held too much. I ask each and every parent that if they have certain wants or needs to care for their child that they inform me on it and I will abide by them. I hope to be caring for you child soon!
