I am a trusted, patient and loving mother of three. I enjoy cooking and quilting. So, if you get in a bind and need dinner on the table when you get home, we can make that happen with a little preparation. I believe that readers are leaders and that it is important to read to children daily. I enjoy teaching stories from the Bible and helping kids to understand fun ways to not only do their homework, but to understand it. I believe that the nutrition of a child helps to develop their minds and bodies and it is important to have a good balance of fruits, veggies, and protein (along with the occasional snack – only because I make the best chocolate chip cookies – EVER – references available upon request – lol) My passion is children and service. It is my desire to serve your household the way Read more that you want it run. I am a super good listener and have a great attention to detail. My job is not to raise your children the way I raise mine, it is to assist you in developing your child(ren) the way you choose. Our home has been adopted as the “neighborhood house” everywhere we have lived. I have spent countless hours in the kitchen – safely, teaching children how to cook – because when they cook it, they eat it – and what better way to get all those fruits and veggies in? I have spent years as a volunteer tutor for children helping to assist them with school work. I am currently employed but wish to be closer to home – the travel for my job has recently required an increase and with two of the three children still at home, I want to be close to them. I teach a Wednesday night women’s bible study and host a small group study in my home on Sunday evenings.
