When, in 2000, I graduated with an AA degree from South Alabama I decided to become a Nanny and use my degree in Gerontology from the other end of the age spectrum. I became the Nanny for one little boy and soon after we added two more so i am well versed in providing loving care to wee infants. I was in charge of the house, laundry, errands, dr. appointments, school carpools, meal preps as well a host of other things on a daily bases. I love little ones because they are so like little sponges, ready to learn everything and give a ton of love back. While I was with this family, the mom was training to become a doctor and when she fulfilled that course, she decide to take back the reins of her family after allowing me to do so for 7.5 years. After I left "my Read more boys" I was referred by them to another family, this one with 4 girls who are now 11, twins 10 and baby 8. Quite a handful but we do lots of after school activities, homework and projects, baking, crafts, and too many other things to list. They are getting older and need me less and less. I have been with this family for almost 5 years and feel the need to move on to another family who needs full time love and attention for infants. I love to spoil and nurture little ones. I am not a teenager or young college student. I have raised my children and have no little ones at home that would cause conflicts with my daily duties with your family. If you need a coverage a little earlier or need to stay away a bit later I have no problem or time schedule of my own to meet. I am not addicted to social media and don't spend all day texting or speaking with friends on the phone, I believe my position is to provide total attention to your family members...both two and four-footed ones. Yes, I am a pet lover too. I don't like to just take care of the children as they can only fill so much time what with naps and quiet time. I have no problem helping out around the house with chores such as dishes, light laundry, tidying up, making beds, and fixing children friendly meals. I feel comfortable running errands as needed and have reliable transportation as well as an impeccable driving record. I welcome speaking to you in regards to any further concerns you may have in the needs of your family. Regards, Peggy P.
