I am a mother of 4 children: 2 girls and 2 boys. My children range in age from 2-16. I am a stay-at-home mom. I decided to leave a career in medicine, where I worked as a Physician Assistant for 16 years, to stay at home with my two boys. And I love it! I have many, many years working in childcare. I kept the nursery at my church for more years than I can count as a teen and early young adult. I also help out in the toddler room at my current church every few weeks. While I may have no "formal" training, what I do have is real world and real life experience of being a mom 24/7 for the past 16+ years.
