Hi, my name is Amanda and I just recently moved back to Gulf Shores after completing my Master's of Science degree. I really would like to get back into babysitting and pet sitting. I work nights at Scoops Ice Cream, so I am available during the day and usually two nights a week. I babysat all through high school, and here and there in college. I mostly have experience with children 2 years and older. I also volunteered with middle school aged children as a mentor in a science and technology program. Needless to say, I love teaching and getting children engaged in subjects like science. So not only will your kid(s) and I enjoy spending time outside playing, I could teach them a few things about their surrounding environment! Amanda was exactly what my 5 y-o child needs: smart and fun, but also keeps her regular schedule so we don't end up with a cranky child the next day. Amanda was very flexible to our changing plans. She came prepared with games and ideas for fun. They spent hours in the pool. She cooked dinner, got Liina ready for bed and read stories. The next day our child wanted to know when her playmate was coming back! On our end, we were excited that Amanda got Liina to eat her healthy dinner options and got her to bed on time. If we end up in Gulf Shores again, we hope she is available.
