My name is Sydney Cole, I’m currently a social work major at Alabama State University. I plan on being a child therapist once I graduate. Most of my life my parents worked for foster care and been youth pastors in a which I’ve babysat in both cases. I also worked as a camp and after school counselor for a year which I had to get CPR certified to get hired. During this I had a group of 25 kids, ages ranging from 3-14, that I would mentor and teach for 3-8 hours a day. I have met many different children from different walks of life and helping them seems to help me understand my purpose.
