Meet Chastity

I currently volunteer in my church's nursery. This is the second year I have been doing this. This experience has shown me how funny, stubborn, intelligent, loving, and rambunctious children can be. I have grown to love the children I care for in the nursery and hope to do so with other children I may care for in the future. They have taught me so much about unconditional love. I also enjoy helping to teach them what is needed to prepare them for their futures. It can be so much fun to play with them and watch them grow. I have watched essentially the same children for years now so I have been able to experience various stages of growth. When I first started, I changed their diapers and now they are potty trained. They use their words now to tell on one another and ask for more snacks, drinks, Read more or to visit the restroom. While watching multiple children at a time can be stressful, I have found that it allows me to observe how they interact with one another. Brothers have a different bond that best friends. I also have a younger brother whom I care for when my parents go on errands. He keeps me busy with his wild imagination. We play with monster trucks, cars, Mr. Potato Head, etc.
